OLD BELLEVUE HOSTS 7TH ANNUAL “TASTE OF MAIN” WITH THE DETLEF SCHREMPF FOUNDATION, AUGUST 22nd

Sample, Sip, Shop and Savor your way down Main Street!
BELLEVUE – August 7, 2015 – Taste of Main, on Bellevue’s celebrated historic Main Street, will take place Saturday, August 22nd, from 12:00-5:00

Patrons purchase “passports”, featuring samples of specially selected wineries, like Pomum and Swiftwater Cellars and Blue Water Distillery, tastes of gourmet food
, snacks and desserts from the city’s most acclaimed restaurants. Also, free giveaways, live entertainment, wine and merchant sales, kids’ activities, and a silent auction are additional highlights.  The event is open to the public, and children are free (with special kid-friendly bites!).

The Detlef Schrempf Foundation hosts the event, and has raised over $16-million for Northwest children’s charities since 1996.  Their partnering charity, for the second year, is Boys and Girls Clubs of Bellevue, running over capacity this summer, with waitlists on many camps. Detlef Schrempf praises the event, “It’s a fun, laidback day that embodies the spirit of the Eastside community, Old Bellevue and Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue.  Not to mention the excellent food and drinks at some of my favorite haunts!”
