Meeting Rooms and Banquets

Parties, meetings and banquets can be arranged at Tahoe Donner for groups ranging in size from 20 - 200 guests with indoor and outdoor options. Depending on the function, audio and visual needs can be met, along with catered food, beverage and a wide array of recreation activities. Local transportation from neighboring hotels can also be arranged. By booking a winter holiday party of 20 or more at either The Lodge or Pizza on the Hill, guests will enjoy a day of free skiing or discounted sledding at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area and Tahoe Donner Snowplay, valid on the same day or for any weekday that season during non-holiday periods.

Summer Offerings

Tahoe Donner Golf Course

A golf outing at Tahoe Donner Golf Course pairs outdoor recreation with team building opportunities. Tahoe Donner Golf Course is a true mountain course cradled among towering pines, meandering creeks and majestic Sierra views. The course will challenge advanced players and inspire players of all abilities. With a unique design and the “best greens in the Tahoe region,” Tahoe Donner is a must-play classic Sierra course. Group options range from 10 to 144 players and can include lunch, golf clinics, tournaments, closest-to-the-pin contests and more if desired. Group rates are dependent on time of year played, day of the week of play, and daily start times.

Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center

Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center is the perfect place to host a corporate event or large party. Groups may take guided horseback rides through the mountains and meadows, followed by delicious western BBQ. Entertainment or team-building games available upon request.

Backcountry Summer Hiking or Biking Adventure

Groups of 10 or more may enjoy the splendors of the Sierra backcountry in Tahoe Donner with an experienced outdoor guide for hiking or bike riding. With over 50 miles of trails, tours can be customized by the group’s overall skillset from easygoing and educational to challenging and adventurous. All outings are informative about wildlife, plants, Native American history, or the old West history of the region.

Bocce Ball and Archery

Games are a party favorite. Custom packages for bocce ball and archery can be arranged to include lessons and tournaments. Games pair well with a meeting or catered group lunch.

Geocaching for Team Building

Using provided GPS units, groups may venture around a selected location on Tahoe Donner property to locate the waypoints of hidden treasures.

Winter Offerings:

Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area

For the ultimate private party or team-building opportunity, the entire mountain at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area can be booked out on select Tuesdays throughout the winter season for as low as $75 per person (passholders still have access).  Packages can be customized to include ski ticket, lesson, rental, BBQ and a full race course. Group functions can take place on the outside deck, which has comfortable seating, picnic tables and fire pits, or inside the spacious ski lodge. For smaller groups of 20 or more, additional group packages can be arranged daily for lift tickets, lessons, equipment and BBQ.

Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area

As the premier facility in Truckee with over 100 kilometers of trails groomed for striding, skating and snowshoeing for beginners to experts, Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area offers group packages for 10 or more that includes clinics, tickets and equipment. Add a trailside group BBQ in the Euer Valley with spectacular views.
