Start off on the right piste
this ski season at Big Sky Resort with their Women’s Early Bird Clinic,
December 5-6, 2015, and the Dan Egan Early Bird Camp, December 14-15, 2015.
The all-women early season
ski clinic, December 5-6, 2015, is taught by women, for women and removes the
pressure of learning to ski like a man. The session focuses on an individual's
performance and works toward mastering new techniques. This clinic is a
building block to advancing women’s skiing from the start of the season
allowing women to gain confidence on snow throughout the season.
“The idea of this clinic
is to personalize a group lesson, provide key tips to improve your skiing
throughout the season, and have fun
meeting new friends who like to ski what you like to ski,” commented Dashelle
Purchell, instructor for Women Clinics at Big Sky Resort.
Dan Egan is one of the
"Top Skiers of All Time", as named by Powder Magazine, and his Early
Bird Camp is designed for skiers who want to learn and adapt their skiing
skills for All Terrain Skiing. The camp will explore skier's range of balance
and stance applied techniques to different terrain from groomed, bumps, steeps
and trees.
Dan Egan’s Early Bird Camp,
December 14-15, 2015, includes two days of guiding and individualized
instruction by Dan Egan and his team of trainers plus video movement analysis. Dan
Egan says, "Come ski with me and learn secrets to all terrain skiing.
We'll cover the strategy and tactics for where we go and why. Changing the way
you'll see the mountain. The only thing extreme is the level of fun.
The Dan Egan Early Bird
Camp and Women’s Early Bird Clinic are designed for intermediate and above
skiers who are motivated to take their abilities to a new levels and goals. The
group sizes are a maximum of six participants.
Big Sky Resort opens for
