As technology continues to dominate our daily lives and forms
the backbone of the most lucrative employment sectors, it’s no surprise more
people, from all walks of life, are looking to rapidly obtain tech skills that
allow them to take advantage of the growing number of job opportunities. Now,
Bellevue-based Coding Dojo – a premier coding bootcamp with campuses also in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Dallas
(opening March 2016) – announces evening courses beginning with Intro to
Software Development, taught by the talented founder and chief instructor of Coding Dojo, Michael
Choi.
The Intro to Software Development Evening Course offers four weeks of detailed lecture, modern
coding exercises and numerous collaboration opportunities. With two sessions
per week on Monday and Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM Pacific,
students will be introduced to a variety of crucial topics and technologies
including web development architecture, source control, JavaScript,
object-oriented programming and much more.
In addition to offering a copious breadth of knowledge compared
to similar programs, Coding Dojo is providing this opportunity for a fraction
of the industry-standard tuition fee. With an affordable full tuition cost
of $950 (or $500 for early registration),
students will receive more than 20 hours of coursework, hands-on lecture and
training, which digs into the meat of software and web development at a very
reasonable cost.
“The evening course is an excellent way for professionals or
aspiring developers to break into programming while maintaining their current
jobs and see if they have the chops to expand their career into the tech
industry,” said Coding Dojo CEO Richard Wang. “After completing
the Coding Dojo intro course, students will walk away knowing whether they want
to continue their learning, and if not they will still have fundamental coding
skills that can be used going forward.”
The first round of Intro
to Software Development classes at Coding Dojo's Bellevue campus will
begin early next year, with the first course running from February 8th through March 4th and the second
course from March 7th through April 1st. Applications received by January 25th
will receive the early registration discount.
