Student David Kook Named to Bellevue College Board of Trustees

Washington Governor Jay Inslee has named student David Kook, of Bellevue, to the Board of Trustees of Bellevue College. Kook is the fourth student to serve on the Bellevue College board.

“As Bellevue College continues to grow, I want to be a part of the new advancements and help the Board provide and sustain a large and diverse learning environment for the wide array of Bellevue College students,” said Kook.

WATER GROUP ELECTS MICHELE KIESZ TO BOARD

Michele Kiesz of Ritzville was elected as a new Trustee on the Columbia Basin Development League Board effective January. Kiesz is Vice President of Kiesz Farms and President of Patty Kagele Farms. She farms dryland ground in the Ritzville area and manages irrigated ground in Grant County within the Odessa Ground Water Replacement study area. Kiesz will serve a three year term. 

The Columbia Basin Development League supports the Columbia Basin Project and future development, protecting its water rights and educating the public on the renewable resource and multiple-purpose benefits of the Project.

Inslee names Richard Fukutaki to Bellevue College Board of Trustees

Washington Governor Jay Inslee has named Richard Fukutaki, of Bellevue, to the Board of Trustees of Bellevue College. In this role, Fukutaki will participate in the six-member board that oversees college operations and finance.  
“Our institution is positioned to make great strides in the coming years,” said BC President Dr. David Rule.  “Richard brings a wealth of knowledge that will be key as we continue to grow.”
